The food was very good: Burgers were good and the kids chicken nuggets were tempura-breaded, and delicious, but only three pieces came in the order. Also, the wait was very long. I went to ask about the order, the burgers were just sitting in a bag (not being kept warm), so we took those, and already one was no longer hot. We were done with the burgers by the time the chicken nuggets came out. I liked that I could get a side of fruit (mango and pineapple) instead of fries. The waffle fries were enjoyed by those who ate them. Bottom line, food was good but wait was long. Order ahead and be prepared to reheat at home if you want it hot. Masks are no longer required as of Memorial Day weekend.

I stopped in today on my way home from work and ordered the soy tuna poke bowl. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was a fresh twist on poke and unlike anything I’ve had so far. The flavors were so fresh and everything went well together. The portion was definitely a good size, which in my opinion justifies the price. My experience was great, and everyone was friendly and had no problem answering my questions and making suggestions. Can’t wait to visit again.

So I had this as 5 stars, solely basing it off of the food, but I can no longer ignore that the service of this place cannot keep up with the high traffic that it experiences on Saturdays. We have gone 2 different times where we waited over an hour for our food. The second time our food was ready, no one told us, they put it over in the pickup section (even though we were in the same room with them) and sat there for 90 minutes getting cold. And plus they don't do fries with the food anymore, so that kinda sucks. They just need to have more people on staff for Saturdays.

This is easily the best restaurant in VA Beach. The owner was on "Beat Bobby Flay" and his food is amazing. I got the poke nachos and the tuna was very well seasoned. The prices are very well seasoned. The kids meals are a great size and the kiddos were happy. Very Covid friendly

Came in @6pm to phones ringing and a busy night for staff. Yes, my food took a little longer and the fries were Luke warm when I got them but the burger and poke more than made up for it. As for the people up here complaining about waiting a little longer or the price/portions. Here’s some food for though you are getting Japanese quality sushi rice, local veggies, fresh never frozen tuna, sustainable fresh healthy salmon, superior raised pork and beef (some of it local) for a fraction of the cost that it should actually be. Tasty craft beers from all across the land and succulent sake. Try to humble yourself and be thankful that someone has blessed you these tasty flavor bombs in a normally touristy area. Locals show love leave good reviews so tourist/Karen’s don’t drag our people’s reputation down!!! Thank you, Jesse and the crew. Food network is great and all but how was the James beard house?!? P.S. bring back some A5... much love 🙏🏼
