I was rather disappointed by the food. It was bland, the hollandaise and gravy really had no flavor. The coffee was good and our waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice. Very sad to see kitchen staff with no hair nets, masks improperly worn or not even being worn at all. I also found a hair in my food which prompted me to immediately stop eating. Throw away dishes and single use sugars/creamers made me sad to see as well. It was all self serve coffee wise, so not the most sanitary. The donut shop behind them was worth the trip though, delicious and very clean with staff properly masked.
Yooooooo! Get the chicken salad and broccoli and cheddar soup then a mimosa to top it off. Best. Service. Ever.
Stopped by while in town for an appointment and was disappointed with the quality of the food. My friend and I ordered the Jim Boy breakfasts. The “smashbrown” was a dry, flattened potato half with no seasoning, and the presentation was really unappealing. My friend was charged almost $2 for a glass of water with her meal. Our server was very friendly and attentive, but we were overall dissatisfied with our experience.
It is a kind small restaurant. The food was good. My date and I enjoyed talking. She is handicapped and the staff was very accommodating with her needs.
Great food and wonderful service. They have fresh, homemade donuts that are to die for!
