I love this place, they are my extended family. They take care of me and always check to make sure my family is doing good. The food is amazing, the staff have the best customer service (watch out chick-fil-a) and the owner is amazing. Stop in and they will make you feel right at home

Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Court time was delayed so we walked right across the street and we’re glad they were open! Can’t wait to come back.

I'm only giving this a 3 star because we waited about 30 minutes for service. It's like they forgot that they had seated us. We were left in the dust. It wasn't even crowded on a Sunday afternoon. However, the food was great and the drinks were as well. We must've came on a bad day or something. Would likely return only for the good food.

Not bad, but a little on the slow side. I ended up downtown early on Tuesday morning when I gave a friend a ride to the courthouse. The appointment took them less than 30 minutes so we decided to walk across the street and grab some breakfast.
It was about 9:30am when we arrived and the place had pretty much cleared out. There were only couple of tables and the server said we could seat ourselves. Once seated she immediately came by with menus and took our drink order.
I settled on an item called the Brick House Combo which was essentially a breakfast skillet. It came with two eggs any way you want them, two strips of bacon, two sausages (link or patty) and ham with toast or a biscuit. My friend had an order of pancakes with a side of sausage patties.
While initially fast with the ordering and drinks from there it got slow, very slow. There was apparently a shift change going on because the server who seated us and took the order disappeared and eventually she was replaced by another one who refilled our drinks. Our food finally arrived and it was excellent and both of us were happy with our meals. Cost ran about $20 before tip which isn't bad at all for downtown Norfolk.
