I have had great meals from this place but they claim high end smoked brisket and wild boar belly burritos... The wild boar is Oscar Myer's hotdogs sliced and cut into quarters. Then the have the audacity to charge you $15 for said burrito. I called the restaurants and spoke to the manager to ask why there was cut up hot dogs in my burrito... He said yes it is pork hot dogs. But the menu clearly states wild boar belly and beans.
The food was superb. My class went to lunch there. I had a lunch special burrito and an orange crush ( i underestimated), so good me and my family had Mexican again for dinner.
I went with friends to El Taco Loco a few years ago. When I returned with my family this weekend I was glad to know that it is still the delicious restaurant I remember. Our server was attentive, and the dining room was clean. We went on a Saturday night and did not have to wait long for a table. Although the chips and their salsa are really, really good, I ordered the grilled avocado as an appetizer. (I LOVE the grilled avocado! It's amazing!) I ordered the "El Taco Loco" (listed under the quesadillas) and it was so full of flavor! My family all enjoyed their meals as well. Unfortunately, we were all so hungry that we didn't think to take any pictures until after we had devoured our food. A great place to visit with friends and family.
My daughter and I have been pleased when we came here before, but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!! This experience was awful; $60 wasted! I ordered the crab cakes and it said lump crab meat and shrimp and that was a lie; they were so small and when I looked inside, there was claw crab meat and those little salad shrimp that were hard! Definitely not worth $16! My daughter got chicken tacos and they were missing the slaw and had no flavor at all! I remember the wings having more sauce, but they were not hot, not that done, and had no sauce at all and I had to make my own and put them in the air fryer! We ordered the shrimp burritos thinking we would get some nice size shrimp, but it had those salad shrimps too and they were hard and the meal was not seasoned at all! It felt like they rushed our food even though they had a hour left before closing. I guess it was a reason why we hadn't been here in a while; there were plenty of better places to eat Mexican food!
The food was great, but it took awhile for the food to come out. The place wasn't busy at all, so I don't know why the food took so long to prepare. Overall the service was nice, and the decor was welcoming.
