Ate here for breakfast the morning after a full day deep sea fishing. It’s a neat cozy place for breakfast or lunch (maybe dinner too). I had the three egg omelette with home fries and toast. Excellent meal!! Our server was fantastic and wish her well. You can help but notice all of the hand painted ceiling tiles. Something very cool!! Great spot. Would definitely come back!!

I chose this place because of the great reviews. I went inside to order my fried seafood platter and waited. The place only had 2 tables with customers. The wait was approximately 10-15 minutes. I went straight back to my room (resort is 1 block from the restaurant) ready to eat some delicious seafood. THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE!!!! The flounder was tough and cold. The crab cake was bland and cold. The scallops were tough, cold, and saturated with grease. I tried to pat the excess grease of the scallops with a napkin and the breader came off. Its like the food had been cooked ahead time. I expected the food to be cooked to order. The only thing good on the plate was the shrimp because it was cooked to order. I tried to eat what I could because I was starving but immediately got sick to my stomach 🤮 Definitely not worth $30 for a plate. I will say the staff was friendly though.

We ordered the chipped beef over wheat toast with grits and a side of hash browns. It was the first week of March 2019. Since I am local, I have returned several times with friends for brunch or lunch (5.95 daily specials). I find that the chipped beef gravy is flavor constant and the best I have ever eaten. The grits were so tasty! Each time I have gone though...the hash browns have been different, the first time well seasoned and crispy, another time, barely crisp, another mediocre. Last time I requested very crispy and they came without seasoning. I suggest you order them well seasoned and extra crispy...It is what I intend to do.

I love the classic diner vibe and comfort food lunch specials like a classic egg salad sandwich. The chicken philly is amazing and will keep me coming back. Soups are perfect, especially this time of year. She crab and chowder were both delicious. Service is always friendly and fast. Plus, they make a very good bloody mary!

My local spot. No attitudes , no wait , no problem. A lot of food for a reasonable price . Looks can be deceiving. Don't worry how if looks inside . Eat well and enjoy the hospitality . We rather go to a little area with good food then rushed food. Budget friendly, cute little place and great food! Has the "home town diner" feel to it and I personally like that! Awesome art paintings on ceilings. Friendly waiter and open really early so not crowded at all
