We did call ahead seating and as a result we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly, Conner was our server and he was very attentive. I order a 11 oz. Sirloin medium rare and my wife got an 8 oz sirloin medium. We received 2 steaks and could not tell which was which, I believe they were both 8oz. Mine was medium well and my wife's steak was well done and dry. Way overcooked. Conner asked if he could fix it but we declined. Servers and hostesses were outstanding, cooks need additional training. Would not recommend.
The atmosphere was laid back, the restaurant was very clean, all the staff were extremely nice, and our server Rachel was absolutely excellent!!! The food was amazingly delicious, and the speedy service was wonderful!! I myself am a server so I thoroughly enjoy being able to go out to eat and getting exceptional service, because I know exactly how demanding and frustrating it can be at times!! Thank you so much for a wonderful visit, we will definitely be back!!
We have 2 handicap boys and they were so hopeful in accommodating our family. They didn't have a table right away and Ben the manager was always making sure we were OK and that it was gonna take time since they were super busy. We waited an hour but our kids liked the food and the staff was super nice. Our waitress was awesome and took great care of us as well. Thank you for every thing.
Overall the food is great and is reasonably priced. The service for eat in is great, but the to go and curbside options are lacking. Wednesday evening at the Suffolk, VA location I picked up a to go order. At first glance everything seemed fine, but once I got back to home and began unpacking the bag I realized that most of my order was missing and had to go back. It was irritating but the manager was understanding and offered me a coupon for a future order. Tonight I decided to use it on another order and went to pick it up. I found an empty spot (it was busy) and walked to the door. I explained what had happened the other day and asked to check the bags before I got back in my car. The woman working to go copped an attitude with me and refused to bring the bags to the door so I could check to make sure nothing was missing before I left. I understand the whole virus thing has people on edge but these two experiences in one week have me thinking of spending money elsewhere for the rest of my stay. There are numerous other places to chose from as the town appears to see a lot of travelers.
Did the curbside pickup. Very busy but that's expected on Valentine's Day. We checked in, the associate came over to get our info and a few minutes later we had our food and we're on our way. Once home we unpacked and began our feast. Steaks were tender and cooked perfect, rolls were warm, sides were delicious. Every bite if the 20oz bone in rib eye was tender and delish. Perfect takeout for a great Valentine's dinner. Will definitely go back. Thanks. And by the way the associate who waited on us was friendly and on the mark. She told us what was going to happen and then made it happen. She was great.
