Amazing service from this restaurant. I observed a man waiting on a to-go order that was offer soup to compensate for the 5 minutes he has to wait. For our service they were very attentive and even packaged up mine to go. I’ll definitely be back.

Can’t really give anything higher then one star. As they cancelled order an hour after placing it and delivery driver had arrived at store. They didn’t even bother to call and say they couldn’t fulfill order. Food looks great, we hear great things about this place, but we will certainly not purchase from Thai Basil in the future. And as for owners response, it was cancelled by restaurant an hour after ordering, at their closing time. Not by the delivery service, as the restaurant says.

This restaurant has the freshest ingredients and best prepared Thai food in the area. The owner and staff are personable and always pleasant with a friendly manner and conversation. I have taken many friends and business associates there for lunch/dinner and everyone is always impressed. During the pandemic, they remained open for takeout and delivery. I especially enjoy sitting in the patio area enjoying the well prepared pad thai, fried rice, drunken noodle and Thai tea (luscious). Best in the area!

Mel and Sam are the best! The most delicious and authentic Thai food available in all of the Tidewater, Virginia region. Be sure to order the fried dry pork.

Thai Basil is an amazing authentic Thai restaurant with a great selection of tasty food, great service, and a unique atmosphere.
The server and owner is an amazing female business owner. Along with owning the restaurant, she also owns a sauce company called My Hot Momma.
The food was amazing. The rice was delicate yet sweet, the curry was fragrant and tasty with just the right amount of spice, the fried rice was also good as well as the garlic delight.
The Thai Tea was very delicious and unique. With its orange color and sweetness it was an amazing drink paired with the spicy curry.
