When we moved to town, we were eager to try this restaurant because of its interesting name. Since then, my family and I have been there many times, and for my business, it is always our go-to place to celebrate successes for my staff. Menu is great- breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Food literally has not one time disappointed us. Service is down-home, country-friendly, and on point. Love love love this place. Try the Patty Melt!
Like every restaurant at the moment, low staff gives ticket times a hit. However, our server was doing her best to stay on top of things and makes the visit a pleasure. Our food was great, price was very competitive, most of all a home grown business beating the pants off the chain guys.
I visit the Cockeyed Rooster regularly. It has a pleasant atmosphere and the servers are friendly and helpful. The food is good and I do recommend it. Whenever my girlfriend is is in town, it's our first stop.
Driven past multiple times, always crowded, my wife and I were driving past that time and it wasn't that long a wait, so we ate there. The food was very good. Country cooking, fairly simple, but flavorful and delicious. Very large portions. We will be back.
Clean place but that's it. California omelet was nothing like described. Came with a slice of avocado and a slice of cold cheese on top. Empty omelet. French toast came mounded with whip cream after specifically asking it not to be. (Oh we can scrape that off) No onion potatoes came with onions. Eggs were over hard when they were to be over easy. Asked for no toast got dark toast. Asked for sausage gravy got none.
