First time here was last night for a date night. Was seated quickly because we had reservations. Waitress was very nice and friendly however never asked if it was our first time here, never recommended anything on the menu nor told us about the chef specials for the night. I ordered the scallops and was looking forward to eating them. After waiting for about 10 Minutes a gentleman comes to the table to tell me they are out of scallops for the night Bummer. So I settled for the sea bass . I asked if it could be prepared like the scallops was and they said yes. I get my food and it's totally wrong. I also asked for grilled shrimp on the side and the shrimp was very over cooked. Very disappointed. Not sure if I'll come back
Pretty nice experience. Super simple but Beautiful service, amazing food. High price point but amazing for what you get and a really great serving size.
I had the meatloaf panini on Dec 13. The bread was good. The meat in the meat loaf tasted like it came from no creature faster moving than a tree. Had to be cardboard with a little tomato paste. Overstuffed to boot. The soft cardboard just squeezed out as you bit into the much harder bread. This was at noon, 150 W Main Street lobby. Oh, and the meat loaf was barely warm. You can't heat inch thick refrigerated tree loaf between bread in a panini press without burning the bread.
Dinner was delicious! A big thanks to Carlos, Gigi, and Jack! You guys were awesome and as always the food, wine, and cocktails were fabulous!!
2nd visit, first visit was nice for Valentine's. I came back this year for Valentine's and was very disappointed. While my server was friendly and attentive, the service wasn't great. Most of our food came out in multiple trips(runner bringing missing items after entree, etc). Apps: My oysters were full of shell fragments, I can shuck them at home without this being and issue. Wife liked her poke bowl and LOVED the Pumpkin She-Crab. Bread basket was good and the duckfat fries were a little too salty. The Mac and Cheese was great, of course. Entrees: Chateaubriand was bland and overcooked, served with Robuchon potatoes that weren't Robuchon at all(something they got perfect in the past). The dessert tray was an absolute embarrassment. Todd, Todd, Todd, that pastry was delivered frozen and thawed. My wife and I never let stuff prevent us from having a good time, but Todd's is no longer what it once was. May return for a quick bite, but not for a special occasion.
