I had the stuffed gypsy toast with strawberries, and my husband had the sweet potato pancakes. The toast was pretty good. I also had some potatoes, which had a really delicious flavor profile. The sweet potato pancakes were... Odd. There was a strong taste of acid in them, like too much lemon juice or something. Not the best honestly. But the service was great! No complaints there at all.
Don’t be fooled by the austere decor, or 1980’s overhead lamps, the food here is AMAZING! I highly recommend the Gypsy Toast (french toast) and (Indian) potatoes! If all of the odd menu item names make you anxious, the chicken tenders are the best you’ll find. Seriously good food!
I had the stuffed gypsy toast and it was delicious! The menu is extensive so I'll definitely return to try a lunch special. The service was a touch slow and the person I went with had two issues with her order (forgot the berries on top of the pancakes and forgot the double bacon). Overall though the hot tea and food was tasty and filling. Just be prepared to spend a bit of time there.
OUTSTANDING! This is the best place for lunch! Can't wait to try their breakfasts. It has a clean and cool vibe. The food was delicious, health, and fresh. Tried thr chicken over rice was, very flavorful. The coconut curry lunch special has nice Nepalese flavors, not as spicy as the Indian version of curry. The waiter was so kind. We will definitely be back.
Not in a rhythm or new staff. Walked in. Not greeted. No sign indication if I should seat myself or stand around and look lost.... another guest said they just sat down after the same experience. A server came up to me at my table and asked for drink. I said iced tea... server said they dont have..and walked off. No menus but a QR code at table.. I scanned and viewed the drink menu... Black Tea Hot/Iced ... ... Not a great experience....
