Love this place! Great food and big portions. Really good prices. Best thing on the menu is Fried Green Tomatoes! We try to visit every year on vacation.

Customer service was fine, and the food was solidly okay, adequate and decent, but nothing that’s going to leave a lasting impression. The kind of food that makes you stop and think to yourself “I could probably make this better on my own at home.” The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, but being in there makes me feel like I’m in a place that’s not living up to its full potential. Not a bad restaurant overall and a great setting for being with friends, but there’s room for improvement.

Have been going here for many years. The food has always been excellent. Except for tonight. I had the crab cakes and there was very little crabmeat and lots of filler. My wife had fried shrimp and there was way too much coating that was soggy with oil. She always liked their shrimp because it was crunchy, but not tonight. We both chose fried green tomatoes as a side. In the past, we always felt that they had the best fried green tomatoes, but they were soggy with too much coating. Don't know what is going on at this place, but we were very dissatisfied tonight. Don't know if we'll be back.

Atmosphere and service was good. Waited 15 min for a table, very good for a Sat eve. Reuben was average. Served on white bread and soggy. Fried haddock was poor. Breading was very thick. Should have used a classic batter and overcooked. Will not return.

Food was fantastic, service was superior, beer was top notch! My wife and I sat at the bar, she had the grilled cheese. No ordinary grilled cheese, it had cheddar, provolone, and bacon (it is Smithfield after all!). I was leaning toward the fish and chips, but we were paddle boarding after lunch so I wanted to go lighter so I got the blackened fish sandwich. Blackened Haddock, lettuce, and tomato. It was excellent. Both meals came with a side, we both had french fries which were crispy and perfectly salted. Grace was working the bar and knew the menu well and left us wanting for nothing. We will definitely be back!
